- As a trial attorney, I have successfully handled some very complex and serious cases, in the areas of personal injury, Qui Tam law (a.k.a. “Whistleblower law”), family law, small business representation, and criminal defense; thus making me well-rounded and uniquely qualified for the bench. I have been trying cases since I graduated from St. Mary's Law School in 2002 and I have been in court ever since. Some of you may remember me as a campaign volunteer for the late Leo Alvarado. My dad was a Texas state representative before his death.
Important Texas Primary voting deadlines
Jan. 2, 2010: This is the last day to request a ballot by mail. With some elderly, voting by mail provdes an excellent way for them to vote.
Jan. 16, 2010: This is the last day for those who want to vote in the early voting to send to the Bexar County Elections Department a new or updated voter's registration card.
Feb. 2, 2010: This is the deadline for those to turn in a voter's registration card and vote in the March primary.
